Becoming Free

Today I feel I am being set free.

At last, I'm becoming what God wants me to be.

The power of sin and all life's frustration

Is finally going, my pain He has taken.

The thought of worry and thought of fret

Is enough to cause any poor Christian to forget

That the Lord has come to set all captives free.He gave

His life at Calvary for people like you and me.

If we'd only keep our eyes on Jesus

Then Satan could not pull us into despair so deep.

The answer is in Him and the work He has begun.

We must just look ahead because the battle's been won.

Some people succeed because they are destined to,

but most people succeed because they are determined to.

Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you: He will not fail you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6
