His Name is Jesus

Just one more kiss, from the Lord up above.

To have His approval and know His sweet love

He's all I dream of, worship and adore.

His name is Jesus---He is my Lord.

His arms are much stronger than any down here.

His heart is so tender, My burdens He bears.

He lifts me from sadness, He drives away care.

His name is Jesus, He's always there.

There's been too many times when

I turned my back on Him.

And looked for other lovers to fill my every whim.

But all I found was emptiness, there was no peace within.

I called out to Jesus---and asked Him to come in.

We walk by faith and not by sight.

O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek you; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is.
